During the 1980s, the British Army adopted Accuracy International’s Precision Marksman Rifle as a replacement for their older sniper rifle systems. The British military designated the new rifle as the L96A1. The L96 is a unique platform as it was designed to be a sniper-system from the ground up. Over its period of use, the L96 went through a number of changes to make it one of the most reliable and accurate bolt-action sniper rifles to be used in any terrain.
The AGM L96 AWP is a great platform for any airsoft sniper. Based on the Arctic Warfare Police variant, the AGM L96 is very lightweight due to its ABS construction making it ideal to carry for long Milsim games or when you are sprinting to cover in short skirmishes. It utilizes a long, one-piece metal outer barrel that helps stabilize the inner barrel. The sniper rifle features a top rail for the addition of any aftermarket sights or optics. The stock features an ergonomically designed grip and a very comfortable rubber cheek and shoulder pad.
The metal bolt is robust and features an enlarged bolt handle to make it easier to grab and cycle the gun. The AGM L96 is ideal for any airsofter looking for a quality sniper rifle. With its ABS construction, all metal trigger system and excellent ergonomics this gun is accurate, reliable and comfortable to shoot.
