The Elite Force 1911 A1 TAC is a high quality, high performance Co2 powered airsoft pistol. The full metal slide and frame gives the gun a very realistic weight and feel and adds to its durability. The railed frame gives operators the option to mount tactical lights or laser to the gun. Since the Elite Force 1911 A1 TAC is a modernized version of a standard 1911, it features an ambidextrous safety switch and an extended beaver tail safety guards the user hand from getting clipped when the slide is cycling.
The main downside with using Co2 in most airsoft guns is that the gas is far too powerful for CQB, and in some cases outdoor, use. Elite Force rectified this issue by designing their 1911 A1 TAC to shoot below 350 FPS. This allows players to use the pistol at CQB fields and allows the it to be more gas efficient than most Co2 powered airsoft guns. In addition, the metal slide - coupled with Co2 - gives the it an extremely hard kick and recoil - which feels amazing!
