Based off the Heckler and Koch MP5, the MP5K (or Kurtz for “short”) is a smaller, more compact variant of the ubiquitous submachine gun. By eliminating the need for a stock and cutting down the receiver and bolt of the MP5K, the once submachine gun – now machine pistol – is a near king of CQB. Being such a small system, coupled with its higher rate of fire, the MP5K was the optimal choice for many special forces units and security forces all over the world.
The Umarex H&K MP5K is designed to be an accurate replica of the sub-compact SMG and provide an excellent competition ready airsoft gun for new players. As this is a Competition Series AEG from Umarex / Elite Force, the body of the MP5K is made out of a robust polymer. This helps keep the overall weight down while maintaining durability. The MP5K uses an ambidextrous selector switch and magazine release making this airsoft gun ideal for left or right handed operators. Following the style its real counter part, the MP5K features rear swivel sling attachment plate – making it a sturdy platform to run a single point sling on.
Utilizing a full metal version 2 gearbox and solid internals, the Umarex H&K MP5K provides excellent performance right out of the box. The durable polymer body, coupled with a robust gearbox and its size make this a great choice for CQB games or as a secondary for when opposing players get close.
